While everyone's lost, the battle is won... ([personal profile] iamashamed) wrote2010-02-11 12:01 am

Bound to happen sometime, I guess...

If this person is on my flist, please, PLEASE take it up with me or at least say it with your username so I know who you are. I am really not trying to piss people off, so I'm sorry if it comes off that way; it wasn't my intention. Also, I would like to know if you are on my flist, so that maybe we could part ways if that's what you wish; I'd rather not have you reading my diary if you don't like me or if I piss you off. In any case, friend or not, I'd still much rather have that you could say it and stand by it, than secretly harbor anger towards me.

Thanks.

Edit: If anyone else has a problem with me, say it here so we can get it out in the open; I hate this kind of High-school scenario.

Wow, she's amazing!

It is, isn't it? I mean, my parents refer to QI as "that one she likes, the gayest show on television". The whole thing is a massive tease based around that affectionate-teacher/naughty-student/sexual-tension kinky thing they've got going on. And the best part is Alan is all blase about it (people watch the show because they think there's a chance Stephen and I might shag) and Stephen is so embarrassed all the time.

/rant. sorry...

P.S. Young Jonathan hair is definitely my favourite. I wanted to pet it. And yeah, he was young. And adorable.

That's something I really love about the show too. I love the sexual tension as well. And I love their friendship. Like when Stephen got upset about that comment on Twitter and Alan came to his defense. It was misguided, but incredibly sweet.

He was so adorable. And his coat! I love his coat. My sister and I just saw the episode of series 3 with all of the Jonathan wannabes at the convention. It was that hair everywhere, but none as lovely as his.

It's incredibly sweet. Awww, when did Alan come to his defense? I knew Stephen was going to stop because someone said something mean on twitter, but I didn't hear about Alan...

Long coats and long hair = SEX. It's a formula that's worked from the beginning of time :D That was such an adorable episode, I loved that one!

Rob & Ben! Eeeeek! Borderline selfcest fanservice kiss for the win, eh? Damn, I wish I had more icon space...

When that person made his comment about Stephen being boring, Alan was on Twitter half the night bitching out people who thought Stephen was overreacting. I guess he deleted all of his Tweets the next day, but it was sort of beautiful while it was happening.

I'm a little sad that we only have one season left to watch now. I'm enjoying the show... not sure what I'll think of it without Maddie though. That's where we are now.

I'm all for fanservice, though I hadn't seen the resemblance until they were sitting next to each other in those practically matching shirts. In retrospect, I don't know how I missed it.

Awwww ALAN YOU DEAR HEART. ♥

I saw it all out of order, sadly, but I always preferred the episodes with Maddie. Largely because the relationship was a tiny bit unconventional, with him being the younger, ridiculously talented one, and her being older and more world-weary. Sort of reverse of the typical gender role thing.

It's crazy, I on the other hand always got them confused, it was nice to be vindicated. I'm not the only one who thinks they are similar!

I'm watching Alan on Jonathan Ross' show on BBC America right now. :D

We're getting the DVDs from Netflix and seeing it in order, but we've missed a Christmas special here and there. Have you seen those?

I also like Maddie. And I agree about the relationship. I love how their relationship became... I don't know... They're like an old married couple in a lot of ways. And the reversal of the typical gender role is fantastic.

Ohhh, I haven't seen any interviews with him :P I've seen one of the Christmas specials, it was pretty good.

Exactly! And I love the way they became like an old married couple. There was this fabulous UST and then there was this fabulous two-independant-people-sleeping-together sort of tension but the thing is they acted like an old married couple the whole time. Before and after. :D

This was the first one I'd seen with him. He makes a great guest, I must say. And Jonathan Ross is such a fangirl.

That's exactly what it was. Regardless of their actions in terms of sleeping together or not sleeping together and having that should we/shouldn't we tension, they always had this old married couple thing happening. My favorite scenes between them were always the ones where one of them is doing something in the bathroom or just out of the shower or fixing dinner.

My sister and I also really love how much Maddie eats. She's this curvy woman who eats as much as she likes and men still adore her. Love it.
