Interesting.

I myself always thought that hating too much someone who's fictional and actually spending your time sporting that it's riddiculous and hypocrite.

I have to say there are many male characters who are hated as well (Jack :() but yeah, I think female ones are the ones that get the harsher response.

I blame the crazy fans for hating so much on someone fictional, and the bad writers who can't write appealing characters longer than two seasons (becuase I ahve to say, while I do not sport the hating, there are many characters who have been ruined because writers didn't know what to do, or for putting them in positions due to the series being a long one, or stuff as such - but ultimately, the crazy hate is all crazy-fandoms fault).
